| Mixed media: acrylic, puff paint (some of the carapace edges), glow-in-the-dark paint (hatchlings), air-dry clay (limbs), and polymer clay (teeth) on cardboard and cardstock + translucent red plastic from a candy wrapper, green tissue paper, and some kind of decorative plastic mesh glued over holes cut in the cardboard + photographed with fairylights behind the painting + some digital editing. |
