Notes: This should go without saying, but since it doesn't: don't use any of the artwork you find on these sites without the artist's permission. A lot of the artists explicitly say they don't want their work reuploaded even if you say where it's from and don't claim it as your own, but even if it doesn't say so anywhere on the site in a language you understand, assume so. I've seen plenty of great fanartists close down their sites because people systematically ignored their wishes about the use of their art, and I'd hate to have this list be used to cause more of that. Respect the artists whose creations you so worship, and if you want that stuff for something, it doesn't hurt to ask. Japanese is not an alien language (and some of them will surely understand simple English). -- The acronym "NWS" I put in the description of some of the sites below? Means "Not Work Safe", i.e. stuff you don't want your boss to see you looking at, or just anyone who might walk up behind you to see where you're surfing. In this case, it mostly means there's nudity (I'll probably say "slightly" or "mild" if it's not too "showy" nudity), and often sexual content known better in the internets as porn. If you're not comfortable with that, either don't go to the site, or just be careful when you browse it. Many sites label their NWS content apart from the "normal" fanart (or fanfiction) with different-looking link thumbnails or little warning texts, but not all of them do. Labels like "R18" or "18禁" (just anything with "18" on it, sometimes 15 or another teen age), or "エロ" ("ero") should be a pretty safe bet the particular picture's not for the little kids. Some artists also have the picture be at the bottom of the page so you have to scroll down to see it (with some arrows pointing towards it so you know there's a picture), but with this method it varies a lot what the artist finds necessary to not have pop up on your screen the moment you click on the link. In some cases you'll just get a picture of two characters kissing. And yeah, apart from that, you'll probably find some bloody pictures, too, but if you're familiar with the series, you should have already seen worse. -- Finally, how to browse the sites? If there's no English menus or anything else obvious*, look for something with "入" ("enter") to enter the site, or "こちら" ("this" :D) is often a link, too. If the site has fanart of several series, the Naruto gallery is thankfully often labeled with just "Naruto". But "ナルト" is how it's written in Japanese (or "なると" in hiragana sometimes, or even "鳴門" in kanji/Chinese). The gallery might be "絵" or "画" (both mean "picture"), or "イラスト" ("irasuto"; "illustration" written in katakana) or it might be just "e" because that's how 絵 is pronounced. "Junk" or "ラク" (or "楽") is not junk, it's usually sketches, or just old work. The artist's blog (can be anything from "diary" in English to "日記", the same in Japanese) often has sketches in it, especially if the link says "Pbbs" or the url just looks like it leads to an oekaki board. "T-blog" or similar would be a Tegaki blog. There's often a log of those sketches somewhere in the gallery. "宝", "treasure", "precious" or such is gift art from and to other artists. "キリバン" ("kiriban") is gift art to people who've caught a certain figure in their site's visitor counter (yeah, this is something a lot of western artists do, too). Some of these artists publish print doujinshi/comics, an order form and previews for which are often linked with texts such as "同人" (doujin) or "Offline". (Web)clap, a gif animation of clapping hands (or of a character clapping their hands) or "web拍手" is a button you can click to send the artist a note that you liked the site. You don't have to write a message or anything (though there's often a chance to do so, too), it'll just send an automatized one to say someone was happy with their work, like an anonymous applause. There's often a thank-you picture you get to see if you click. Also, on some sites you may run into the term "BL", and that's what you should be looking for if your favorite pairing happens to be two guys (or avoiding if Do Not Want). It's short for "Boys' Love", and yes, isn't it funny how the Japanese use an English term while the western fans use a Japanese one ("yaoi" is still in use, but it particularly refers to the porny variation, and, I think, original work rather than fanart, so if you're already browsing a BL site you'll probably see R18 labels instead of it). "GL" would be "Girls' Love", of course. "メール" ("meeru"; "mail" in katakana) is e-mail, usually a form. Sometimes the artist's address is written in any "info" part of the site, too. Should you want to contact them. "Bkm" (bookmark), "リンク" ("linku") or sometimes just some variation of "love" is a links list where you may find other sites you'll like, since the artist likes them, too. (*Although the English isn't always too clear either: "pict" or similar is usually the gallery, but it may also be a blog, and sometimes the gallery is something like "works" instead. Just as often, the gallery is called "main", as in the main reason there's a site. "Gallery" is deceptively often (Japanese) fanfiction - which can also be "dream", but sometimes that's pictures, too, and sometimes the fanfics even have illustrations! So click on everything that doesn't look like an ad, I guess.) Now knock yourself out.

For Naruto and Gaara specifically, I have a Group that gathers fanart of them. If you like these two
as individuals, friends or a couple, you should check out (and contribute to) the gallery  and faves of
Art of Naruto and Gaara.

For general Naruto fanart (but also Naruto and Gaara), there is a folder in my favorites
that you might find useful. Make sure to check the rest of the artists' galleries (and often favorites), too,
because they'll probably contain pictures you'll like but I didn't like enough to fave.
And do use the search function. It sometimes functions.

Most of my favorites are Naruto fanart.
A lot of the artists whose sites I've linked above have accounts at this site, too,
(and some accounts I've already linked directly in their sites' descriptions),
and their galleries tend to include pictures they haven't uploaded to their personal sites.
Again, make sure to check the full galleries (and often favorites) of artists whose work I've faved,
as there's bound to be stuff there you'll like but I didn't feel like faving.
JUST BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL if you've enabled viewing R-18 images, because unlike DA, Pixiv is not at all fond of censoring. Anything.
You can browse the pictures by tags to find more things you'll like, which I find quite a bit more functional than a word search.
You need to register an account there to be able to browse the site, but it's free.
