Preening interrupted by... something?
The plumage design is inspired by the Yellow swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon),
a more detailed version of one of the Lepidopteraptors from a few years back.

Jurassic World: The Game's Deinonychus (max level), because I saw a screenshot of this beast and really like its design.
This isn't even a feathered redesign, as it's already feathered in the game, I just gave it functional wings.

I think there's actually only one long feather with a blue tassel at the end on the head,
but I liked two better, matches the tail. And now it looks like a squirrel. :)
