Raptor repaints, vol. No Longer Baby
September-November 2024

Grown-up versions of more formerly-baby raptor OCs from my Jurassic Park AU!
If you came to this page from somewhere else, you can find the AU here.

Materials:

  • acrylic paint

  • epoxy putty

  • aluminum foil

Daydreamer

My little clever boy is now neither little nor strictly a boy!
Eir figure was a JW Velociraptor that came in Camp Cretaceous packaging,
I think Blues with the same sculpt are labeled as Savage Strike figures.

Soft steps

Daydreamer's little sister is also no longer very little. Her figure was a JW Extreme Damage Velociraptor.
(I used another one of the same figure earlier to make her and Daydreamer's older sister Tumult.
Yes, they both started out as white with blue stripes.)

  • patched up the extreme damage feature with epoxy putty, with foil as filler, and also used the putty to fix a balance issue on one foot
  • fully repainted, other than the bigger toe claws and most of the inside of the mouth

And of course their eyes glow!

Group picture with big sister Tumult, dad Serene, mom Meripihka,
and baby versions of Soft steps and Daydreamer.

You can find more pictures and explanations from
the process of making the figures here at my blog: post 1, post 2.
